Sunshine Housing Co-Op

TL Housing Solutions worked with The Community Land Trust (CLT) on the relocation and expansion of the Sunshine Housing Co-op. The City of Surrey was a key partner in facilitating this project through the provision of city lands by way of a long-term land lease with the CLT. The Sunshine Housing Co-op offers 69 homes in a 6-storey, wood frame building that accommodates a diversity of age groups and income levels, thus creating a vibrant, mixed-income community in Surrey’s City Centre with a heavy emphasis on family homes. The Sunshine Housing Co-op was funded through BC Housing’s Community Housing Fund.
